wiring harness confusion

alright... I was on hasport's website searching for all the things i need for my b16 into automatic crx project. I looked up the wiring harnesses, and they are 250 beans. Then the next thing i saw was the ecu single wire conversions and their 350 beans. Whats the difference between those 2? are they just the same thing, but the single wire is easier to install?? ------
also, what do i need for the full swap?
this is where i was told to get the engine, and this is what the send with it-
B16A 92-00 (SiR-II) Motor, Tranny, ECU
- Motor
- Hydrolic Tranny (S21, Y21)
- ECU (P30)
- Alternator
- Starter
- Clutch
- Flywheel
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Fuel Rail
- Injectors
- Distributor
- Engine Harness
- Comes With All Sensors Needed
- LSD Tranny (Optional +$300)

The one wire conversion allows you to hook up a VTEC engine using only one wire as opposed to the 4 required normally.
The hydraulic transmission will not work unless you fab a custom trasnmission mount and use the hydraulic actuation system from a 92+ honda. You will need to buy a conversion harness to further conver the hasport harness to obd1. It would be much easier and cheaper to buy an 89-91 b16a from either a civic sir or integra xsi. You will need a mount kit as well... hasport, hcp, etc. Youl will also need a shift linkage hasport, hcp, or make your own.
If you decide to go ahead with the OBD1(92+ b16a) you will need a cable actuated transmission unless you want to do some fabrication. You will need 90-91 integra rear and driver side motor mount brackets. You also will need the axles and intermediate shaft from the same year integra.
I would suggest getting an OBD0 b16a. It is a much easier swap into the 88-91 civic/crx.:) Good Luck

Ah, I didn't see that you were going to keep it auto. PM crxlvr on here, he is doing a 1st gen auto b16a into his crx. You won't need the shift linkage obviously since you are going auto. Any engine importer should be able to get you an auto b16a. If you have any more questions fire away. We will try to help you as best as we can.:)

www.hmotorsonline.com is where i got that engine info from. but anyway, all i have to do is call up an engine supplier, and just ask for a plain old automatic b16a? nothing about OBD1 or anything like that?

"first gen b16"
or
"b16a1"
even though b16a1 technically doesn't exist. the block stamp is just B16A

The first engine listed on the above page is a 1st gen b16a. You will need to call them up and ask them to provide you one with an auto trans and ecu.
