High Performance MAF sensor?

Has anyone used one of these high perf. maf Sensors? Do they really make any significant difference? I was looking at the Granatelli Motor Sports Mass Airflow Sensor.

For a stock OEM engine setup they will not help anything.

I think they are made to handle a larger volume of air flow on High performance engines.
