Well.... I was driving around downtown orlando driving someone home, and i heard some gunshots being fired.. So I quickly get out of there, but not fast enough. A bullet hit through the hood and hit the engine.
But, she kept on going as if nothing happened!! I get home, and check the engine, and right where cylinder 2 is, is there small pitted hole, where the bullet musta hit, but bounced off.. Of course, I now have a bullet hole in the car, but this car, even though running like crap, may have saved my life?
I'm keepin the car..

After that, I certainly would. Did you contact the local police? It might be a good idea to do so.

Hell yea.. I was scared the whole ride home, as if every road was dangerous..
But I tell ya. I've seen cars killed by far less, and this one took a direct hit and got me out of there quickly.
It appears the only damage right now is an electrical wire.. My driver side high beams don't work now.

Well, got an update. Had the front end repaired, bullet hole is gone.
Engine status?
Now she's back up like before.

I actually got a chance to drive a 91 caprice today, they feel a little different than the boxy ones but still a nice smooth ride

Ah nothing like a comfortable ride in a caprice. The only down side to the smooth suspension as you may know is if you have three friends in the back the car is literally dragging its ass on the ground! I'm actually debating whether or not i should sacrifice the ride for some stronger springs.

yeah ive had a full load of passengers in the back seat before and you can def tell the car is lower, though i think new shocks and struts are next for mine anyway
