97 gtp Drivers door wont open??

:screwy: Hey guys my drivers door won't open, it seems like the rod inside discontected or something? when you pull on the lever I dont feel anything, and the lock switch/lever doesnt move when I hit the lock and un lock button, although I can hear it locking and unlocking from within the door by where the latch is, or atleast it sounds like it? has anyone ever had this problem? and what should I look at to fix this?

The best thing to do is pull the door panel and see if the rod came off to the door latch assembly or see if there is anything else obvious.
