That sounds about like the going rate... just make sure you have a good motor so you don't get screwed over.

Word to the wise though, be careful about what is called a complete swap plus install. I've spent the past three months researching my soon to come swap and there are some snags I've caught. and Im planing on about $500-$800 in un caught snags.
For instance, a motor from hmotorsonline is guaranteed to start only if you replace the wires, plugs, distributor rotor, waterpump, and some other things. Also, you now have a much bigger motor in the same car, can your suspension handle it? Can your breaks efficiently stop your new found speed? Can your tires perform well enough to handle the suspension, speed, and breaking?

not tryin to be a pain, but these are a lot of things that I think should be done along with a swap. everything effects everything on a car, and its best to go head to toe. that sounds about right for a full b18c swap (actually pretty good) but be wary of the other stuff too, and stuff you haven't thought of until its broken or has to be drilled out.

good luck though!

Well ive noticed with the engine i bought that theres a lot of stuff from my motor in my car now that you can use some of the stuff off of the stock motor for instance: harness, the motor mounts ( b series only i belive), some external parts, i dunno may be more but i do know about those items, then yeah youll need prob new spark plugs, oil , oil filter, spark plug wires, mabe new starter and thats a mabe, make sure the oil pan is good on the engine ive seen alot of smashed ones from the ride to america, just those key things, if u get a high peformance ecu be prepared to replace your valve springs, and etc. so yeah there are more things into installing an engine thats why i just said fuck it... and having the place where i get my shit at install it so if theres a problem they'll know then i can just buy the part and bring it to them!!
oh and yeah my suspension is really cambered right now with my stock engine so a b16 in my hatch is going to add alot of weight in my car.... So be prepared for like struts and mabe even a camber kit for the front!!! and so forth...
