Wheel weights fell off

I have a 2008 G6 with 7000 miles on it. Recently after going through an automatic car wash that I've been through many times with many different cars the wheel weights fell off the rear tires. Not just 1 weight fell off, 4 fell off. I located a nearby dealer and got the tires balanced and rotated. I was not happy to learn that the G6 has taped on wheel weights which are prone to falling off. I'm wondering how many others have experienced this and to what frequency.

Any rim that requires wheel weights are at risk of loosing a wheel weight. I think mine may have lost a weight or 2 over time but i never really noticed plus my g6 was used so i couldn't tell if they were replaced at one time. Taped wheel weights come off just as easily as the clip on wheel weights, just do what i've done in the past go back and say it fell off. Most places will replace it free of charge if you go within a week.
