in dash gps reccomendation

I have been looking at in dash gps systems and i am trying to find the best deal on a double din system. I am pretty much stuck between two units: Pioneer avic f700 or f900... just trying to figure out the main differences between the two and i think the 900 plays dvds and the 700 doesnt but all the pictures that show the face of the 700 show a dvd logo so i am confused. anyone know if it does? if so, what are the differences between the two?

from their own site, I would say no on the dvd playback for the 700
