so i've read about alot of mods that can be done for free, and i was wondering if there were any that hadnt reached my ears yet. i've done the 'free boost' mod from the FAQ and i'll probably be gutting my pre-cats over this long weekend. i really would like to get some more though, aas i have fairly limited funds at the moment. thanks guys

well i guess depends on what you want to do with your car and emissions etc..
take off exhaust from header/downpipe back if you a 94-95 hybrid ecu you wont get a CEL, vacuum reduction, awd steering delete, remove all a/c components...

i'd like to keep the a/c and powersteering because this is going to be a street car. but what is vac reduction? i'm not familiar with that

snake eyes?
vac reduction is basically getting rid of all the useless vacuum lines in the engine compartment, 90% of which have to do with the EGR system, which is removed as well.
Doing this make the engine bay cleaner looking, reduces chances for boost leaks, net more power and better MPG (marginally), helps the intake stay cleaner since you're not routing carbon-laden exhaust back in, and saves a bit of weight.

before doing hp upgrades, make sure the car is good for it. tune up and such. dont wanna spend 1g into the engine and then break the timing belt, and bend 16-20 valves outta 24.
if you wanna go real smart, add power and loose weight. lighter wheels, delete the almost useless rear seats, no a/c.

the rear seats only weight like 2 lbs, and it looks like crap without them. you'd be better off shedding the 2 lbs yourself, lol.:puke:
