Happy Thanksgiving.
I,m back again with a new issue. No wonder GM is having so many problems. It snowed tried to use 4wd and the indicator would not light up either on the selector switch or the instrument panel, no 4wd operation stuck in 2wd. Tech(not a GM dealer) thought the rotary switch was bad since it did not light up in any position. This was not the problem, they now narrowed down to transfer case control module because there was power going in but no power/signal coming out. Dealer had it in stock which tells me they sell these on a regular basis. Will be bringing my vehicle back in the first part of the week for replacement. Does this sound right to you? I have a feeling the diagnostic time is going to be high. Kris

There have been issues with the transfer case encoder motor and using the proper scanner the diagnosis is not a big deal.
