3rd row seat removal

Hello I just recently purchased a 2002 LT Burb and I screwed up. I removed the 3rd row seat in it and all but when I put it back in as I locked it down into place I wound up catching the rubber floor mat in the left rear floor catch. Now I can't get it to release. HELP!!! I really need to be able to get this seat out! It releases on the right side, just not the left.

Hmmm, short of cutting the mat out, perhaps you could try wedging in a prybar or a screwdriver down the side(s) of the catch. You might be able to dislodge the mat. Good luck!
