Back-up switch

Hello everyone,
Where is the back-up switch located on my GCL 1995, 5.2L?
If I go from Drive to Reverse, no light
If I go from Park to Reverse, lights are "ON"
Is there any way to adjust the switch?

Sounds like it could be the Neutral Safety Switch. It's located on the transmission and should have wiring running to it.
It's expensive to replace, so I'd suggest cleaning it, which apparently works very well. There are numerous threads about cleaning it in the Cherokee section...I'd suggest a search there.
