'99 GT 3800 Pan Removal

I have a '99 GT I noticed there were some spots on my blacktop driveway the other day so I looked under there and notice that the oil pan was covered in oil and dirt. I recently fixed the LIM gasket, looks like the bypass elbows need fixed now too though.

I've run into a snag getting the oil pan out of the engine though. I disconnected the nuts to the lower engine mount (top side), and removed the 5 bolts holding the bracket onto the block, not looking forward to reinstalling a few of those. Disconnected the passenger side upper engine mount. Took off the access panel behind the front right tire. I don't have an engine hoist so I can't lift the engine up from the top, so I have been jacking under the passenger side transaxle housing. The pan is loose, and the oil level sensor is out of the pan, however I still can't quite get the pan out due to the subframe of the lower engine mount. I've tried jacking the thing up as much as possible but it seems to lift the car off the jack stands, even when I had the other upper engine mount disconnected. I've gotten pretty close, but it always seems to get just barely caught up between the flywheel/TC housing and the lower engine mount gusset on the subframe

Has anyone ever succesfully done this without using an engine hoist to lift the engine up higher? My only other idea is to loose up the entire subframe and try dropping the passenger side until the gusset for the lower frame mount is out of the way enough.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the whole subfram needs to come off, sorry man.

Maybe you can rent an engine strut tower brace from autozone or advance.
