trailer wiring?

I just bought a trailer and went to hook it up to my 95 rodeo only to find out that the plug from the manufacturer is some weird ass five pin square plug. anyone dealt with this? trying to find out if im gonna have to rewire it or if there is an adapter floating around somewhere.

I believe the '95 has the same setup as the '97. If so, you need a Hoppy 43205 harness. Should be able to get them about $25. Just plug it in, tie up the wires, and done. Do not cut the factory plug off and try to rewire, it just causes problems in the future. Do it right the first time.

Do as Giz says, do NOT rewire that truck, it's not necessary to do all that.
