Odyssey: Rear Entertainment System DVD Screen is Black, But Sound Still Works

We purchased a pre-owned Odyssey last year. The rear entertainment system has worked well, with no glitches. However, while playing a DVD recently, the screen suddenly went black. DVDs still play, and the sound to the system still works, but we can't get anything on the screen.

If this is a major problem, we won't be able to afford to fix it, so I'm hoping to find some simple solution! Has anyone else had this happen? Any ideas?

Thanks so much for any feedback!

maybe you can talk to the dealer for warranty.

Could be a loose/pinched wire? Trying monkeying around with the housing - haven't looked at these so not sure how its mounted, should be a few screws that hold the thing up. Sounds like the screen isnt getting power or is toast, not sure on the size but replacements are usually $100 for a cheapy upto $500 or more for the baller ones. :sunglasse
