heater matrix

:confused: I have 97 meganne. The fan heater only blows cold air! I am led to believe it could be a "stuck valve" in the "Heater Matrix". My prob is i dont know where or what matrix is ,nevermind finding valves! Anybody know where its located and is it easy to remedy?
