So, this started about 2 weeks ago and I thought it was my distributor because I was throwing code 9's. I replaced my dist. with a remanufactured unit and cleared the ECU. Now, I have no codes. So, for the next day or two the car started fine and ran great. But, now it is doing it again. The dist. is out of the question so here is what it's doing. When I go to start it in the morning, the car turns over, turns over, turns over but no combustion. I have spark. I have fuel. Last night, I replaced my fuel filter thinking that was the culprit. So, this morning I get into the car to go to work (already running late) and it won't start. After about 10 minutes of turning over, wait, turning over, wait, it will crank and run crappy. When I give it some gas (only a lil bit, I mean barely) it will bring up the revs but if I give it more gas, it acts like it's flooded and bogs down. I know this can also happen from lack of fuel and hence the fuel filter replacement. So, on the way to work, it normally clears out about a mile down the road and will run fine the rest of the day. But, as I turned from the stop sign where it has normally cleared out, it was bogging still. This time, when I got it to accelerate, it backfired. Do you think it could be a clogged catalytic converter? I'm up in the air for suggestions and would really like some knowledgable feedback. My blinker fluid is full and the kanuker valve is functioning :flipa: So, help a brotha out here. If it helps, I live in Northwest Florida and the temps have been around 50-80 degree lately. It also seems that it does this in the morning after it has rained. I don't know if that helps or not. Thanks in advance and sorry about the long post.

well they are all mostly skinny with colored insulation around them. No seriously, the harness is pretty in factory condition with now splicing, no wear spots, everything is nice there. Good suggestion though.

That is what I was just thinking. what I would do is to do a serious tune up and check everything. But you said that it runs in the morning right but really shitty. You should probably check your injectors
