91 Park Ave Brake Headache

Hoping for some suggestions. Problem is dragging brakes. I've replaced shoes/pads, both rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder and front driver side caliper. Car drives fine after initial startup and first few stops. Then the brakes gradually start dragging to the point of actually stopping the car. After parking the car I pulled the front tires and both calipers are tight on the rotors.

Did you remove, clean & lubricate the caliper slides? If so, you may need to replace the rubber lines, they deteriorate from the inside.

Thanks for the response. Caliper slides are good. I'm starting to think the problem is in the ABS

I cleaned and lubricated the slides and my front driver side wheel still has drag. Disconnecting the ABS did not change anything either. The caliper is new but I guess I could change it again.

Problem could still be in the hoses or in the master cylinder. that would be my ideas. the new caliper may have issues too. its always possible to get a part that isnt up to standards.

My best guess is to tell you to replace both of the front rubber lines to the caliper... They should be cheap enough...

It is also possible that you may have gotten a bad caliper as well.. But it will be worth your time to go ahead and replace the rubber brake lines..
