Life Adventures

Greetings everyone!
My name's famlycar (family person) with a lot of life adventures to share or adventures to gain from any of you on this forum. Life adventures could be short one sentence experiences or long paragraph endeavors.
For instance, last year, 2007, I decided to walk to my job instead of driving all the time (break the rules so-to-speak). It was a five mile walk. It took me an hour and a half. I experienced things I never knew existed before and I feel good physically after doing it more often (of course the first time I was already in fairly good shape). Most important thing I learned is that driving is not absolutely necessary all the time and walking isn't all that difficult.
Another example, my kids bring home a book they have to read for school so I read it too. I am able to share the same things in that book with my son or daughter as well as tell them what's good and bad. And it usually turns into a little adventure for us when we share our feelings together and do some of the things in the book together. For instance, the book about Lewis and Clark's Expedition west to the Pacific coast. We, as a family, decided to follow nearly the same route on our summer vacation together. Since we were all in agreement what our main objective was from reading the book, we all experienced the same adventures.
