A new one from me. Been a while. This was the California Wheels Revell. Changed the wheels and tires and my first wired engine. Went ok.
Thanks for looking.

Stunning, it may as well be a real car in the first picture. I think this is a beautifully done model, congrats to you.

Beautiful model, and some exceptional photography! May I ask, what material is that tarmac you are using?

tarmac? you mean what the car is on? Just the cement outside the house.
Thanks for the comments all

Great style and build quality! When I saw this kit some time ago I thought it would look great in aquamarine blue with simple steel wheels and your model really proves that

Yes, it looked so finely grained, I imagined it could be painted abrasive paper!

I like the big block, and the painted wheels.
Has that kind of sleeper, COPO type of look.
The paint looks flawless.
And the only thing I can think of is the undercarriage looks great, but maybe a little too weathered for how clean the car is.
Excellent work though!

Just registered and looking through different models. This is great. looks like a real car against that road! A lot of clean cars are dirty underneath like yours (I know mine area). I have one of these in the 'to do' pile. This is the inspiration I need to get it started! Can you tell me what wheels / tyres you used?

The wheels were actually part of a Jeep kit. Got the Moon caps from my spare parts. Not sure where they came from.
Thanks.

A real 1st class model build. And, it does look like a real car.

A quality build and an excellent result, and I agree that the wheels look great. One minor comment, I don't know if it's just the photograph but the left rear window looks as though it could do with a cocktail stick running along the bottom edge to remove a bit of dry polish left over from rubbing out the paint.
