Since we have retired our A/Sedan car, we are selling the engine out of it.
It is the engine from Andy McDermids 2007 Runoffs A/Sedan Mustang.
It has only 3 races on it in our car and was freshened prior to delivery to us (following tear down inspection at the 2007 runoffs).
306 c.i. GT40P heads 10.2:1 gas ported pistons, steel crank, aftermarket rods .500 lift solid lifter camshaft, Edelbrock dual plane. Zero balance crank with Damper and matching lightened flywheel. Makes 395 REAL h.p. and likes to shift around 6600 rpm. Very smooth and nice running engine. $9,000 New all yours for $3000.00
This engine currently holds the track record at Sebring and the 2008 CFR Championship.
We also have a set of GT 40 heads complete and in perfect condition with 140# springs and stock valve sizes. $300.00 plus shipping

I didn't know you posted on here... for what we just spend on parts for our motor we could have easily purchased this! Good luck selling. The carb we got from you sure is pretty.

Yea, we weren't going to sell it. We were testing for Andy McDermid throughout 2008 season to give him any data we could so he could win the runoffs. It's a (top notch Felice Racing Engine) but we had to pull the engine out to install something in the higher h.p. range for some fuel economy testing on a NASCAR road course program...so as long as its out...might as well not let it sit around.
I usually regret selling these engines when I find out later I need them back...but I have other chevrolet engines/vehicles that are similar that I can use for testing so this Ford package will simply be an extra we won't use again.
It has the big road course Canton pan and its on the old style block so its bullet proof.
I love your Panoz by the way...when I get the time I am going to get back into road racing and probably buy a Panoz (I am a Panoz School Graduate...you can read about it in our "under the scoop" section).
If I do buy a Panoz I will want this engine back, those cars need about 400 h.p. not 300, they are way too cool looking to not have about 400 h.p. :grinyes:

What a great time that was and what a well balanced race car...they drive much nice than my A/Sedan car ever could.

Sorry folks, (I just got a phone call this evening) it appears we will be needing this engine for an upcoming development project so we have to take it off the market.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
The ready to bolt on GT 40 heads are still available. They are equipped with 7/16 studs.
