Hi Guys,
I have a question for the kit experts: there are 2 main series of the kits of the beautiful F50 Ferrari made by Tamiya: older ones (product code 24160 for the red version) and the re-released version (product code 24296 for the red version). My question is that can the whole rear-end be opened on the older kit also - just like on the re-released?
Any help is appreciated.

The kits are identical except for packaging. Tamiya had to change it's Ferrari kit packaging (as did all manufacturers of Ferrari kits) to be compliant with Ferrari's licensing specifications. So the box is different, but the kit is unchanged.

There are different C/F decals in the new kit (same patterns, different weave).
