holley carb model #?

ok, i'm pretty sure this is a 4150, 750 cfm, double pumper after looking on the internet, but i want to make sure, because the exact list number i have found on my carb i never found on the internet, nor have i ever seen before... the list number is 4779-9. the 4779 part is pretty self explanatory, my problem is the "-9" it is NOWHERE, and i've spent hours looking, please help me find out if this is an important difference, or a date that it got off of the assembly line, thanks in advance

Welcome to AF. FWIW, "the internet" is not the best place to find correct information on Holley carbs (or many other things, too!). A Holley catelog or a REAL carb shop would be better.

The "list" number is key when buying service kits or "special" parts. For the most part, a 4150 is a 4150... When you contact your Holley dealer (DO NOT buy a cheaper kit), give them that number. The "-9" is an engineering "level" (same design, updated features over the previous number).
