I have a 05 durango i have been hearing a noise in the front end, at low speeds 20 on a bumpy road you can hear it and feel it in the brake & gas pedal, while turning into the drive you can hear it, like a fate popping or bumping. i put in the shop and drove the tech around the block, he said that he only heard it twice at low speed. So they kept it over night and at 9:30 the next morning i call the shop and they said that they couldn't find anything but they burn most of a full tank out of it, They said that he put on some earmuffs and hooked into the frame but didn't find anything. So what do yall think/:runaround: :runaround:

My '06 makes what sounds like a grinding/popping noise similar to what you described. I recently realized that it was the traction control kicking in. Look at your dash next time and see if the yellow light flashes.

On mine, it was the steering shaft joint, although that was a 1999.
