Wipers wont respond

Wipers on my oldsmobile intrigue are not responding to controls they start initially but wont stop even If I turn them off, dealership told me the circuit module needs to be changed in the wiper motor. Wondering if that control module comes seperate or the whole motor needs to be replaced. Any 1 had that problem before ? Thanks for your views.
