1994 chevy camaro car starting problems

okay my friends '94 chevy camaro is having car problems and the key will turn but he has no spark or eletric current going threw and he's tryed everything to fix it, and this all started after he put engine cleaner in his engine and now it wont work period. wat could he do to fix it or wat could be the problem?we found out its neither battery or anything its either computer or something. can any of that stop ur engine for starting?

what do you mean by putting engine cleaner on the engine?? like on the oil ?? or is it caburator cleaner all around the engine?

do the headlite test when it won't crank. Turn on the headlights and turn the key to crank, if the lights stay bright, there is an open circuit to the starter. If the lites go out or almost out, it is usually the battery or cables. if battery is dead, it could be alternator problems.

Does the 'security' warning light come on? Almost sounds like a VATS problem.
