...i wrecked it

This is the third time ive tried to post this up, but my computer being gay as it is keeps crashing the internet...long story short, got cocky with a road i know better than to be speeding on, especially in the rain. Lost the rear end at the bottom of a hill and slid off into a ditch almost hitting a Yukon and a telephone pole, not to mention if my back wheels were about six inches further back while sliding sideways down the ditch side i would of hit a rock the size of me and possibly flipped. Im scared shitless of the car now, but i dont want to get rid of it, but then again theres alot of possible damage i havent seen yet that i probably dont want to fix.

Not sure what to do...i have the option of buying a 95 awd talon (tranny is there and good, interior is gutted) with the body in okay shape and putting my motor in it for $700, or using the core out of that one to fix mine and make mine awd in the process...btw the talon is friggin purple and my eclipse is white, and im not to fond of the thought of ridin around in a purple car...

nah not a cf...just wish it was. I put a black one on and when you stand back at a distance, it looks like one...lol

But as of now, the tranny is F***ed, it goes into gear, but with really long throws and it wont stay in. And a half the time you cant even put it in gear. And im not reading any oil pressure, but it stays at normal temp after a 30 min idle, so its getting oil and coolant through out the motor, just not reading it...

I note that you use fram oil filter ?

lmao...yeah, my dad bought it when i sent him on the last oil run. I could swear i said look for a mobil1 filter, but its all good...i guess

good news though...were gonna try and fix the core support...if we cant, there is talon with a perfect core at one of my local junkyards and moms is funding a complete rebuild of the motor and front end...only down side, i got to pay it all back after college. So i may get to completely tear my own car apart not just for the fun of it anymore...lol:tongue:
