It's software based with an interface cable to connect between the vehicle and a laptop. Price is about $380.
I've talked to several people who purchased conventional programmers and about half of them were disappointed. I guess the developers don't always get them right. The advantage of this unit over most programmers is that parameter tables can be customized and taylored to the individual vehicle.
Has anyone used this software and what are your observations?
