radiator flush

quick question, what steps are involved in flushing the radiator on a 3.4 camaro? so i need to remove the radiator or anything?

Nope, you don't have to remove anything, at least, I didn't. I just drained the radiator, then popped off one end of one of the radiator hoses (don't remember which one), stuck a garden hose in it, removed one end of other hose on the other end of the system, and had someone else turn on the garden hose. I pointed the exit hose down so I didn't soak the engine bay or my opti.

they have a flush kit for that you can get them in most parts stores that way it will go threw your heater core to.

The kit forses the flush throughtthe core which has very small passages, if you don't all the gunk form everywehre else will accumulate there and not too far down the road you'll be kicking yourself in the ass for not doing ti right the first time.

Plus they're cheap.:grinyes:

yep, at wally world theyre 3 buck, got one myself and i rather spend 3 dlls than 85 to get it flushed.
