92 Cutlass Ciera Head Gasket

Was leaking coolant from one of the hoses, which was replaced and it stopped the leak. Noticed that it was still overheating, so made sure the coolant was full, which it wasnt, so filled it and noticed oil in the coolant. Car guy friend of mine said that it most likely is a blown head gasket as he was the one working on it. Way to much money to pay a shop to fix it, so I am going to do the work. Is there any good instructions out there for this? I have tried to find something but keep coming up empty handed. Not sure if a Chilton's will have detailed instructions or not.

Any help would really be appreciated!!!
