Blowing fuse for reverse/signal lights....

I have a 1998 Rodeo with the 3.2L V6.
The truck keeps blowing the fuse that relates to the reverse/signal lights, but when it blows, it takes out the cruise control and the blower motor for the heat.
The push button to engage cruise works, but not the button on the column to start cruise control.
The main fuse for the blower motor is still good, so i'm thinking its knocking out the switch selector for the heat settings, therefore shutting off the heat.
Anyone run into anything like this??? The cruise and heat are not part of that fuse as far as I know, which is why I don't know what would be blowing it all out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Patrick

If you have a trailer hitch plug, unplug it. then pull all the bulbs, (turn signals, reverse) and clean the sockets and bulbs up.
Isuzu's do weird things with weak electrical systems (and corroded bulbs).

If you do any off roading you could have pinched the harness underneath. I tmay have a short and when you turn on the lights it blows the fuse

thanks guys, i already tried removing the hitch harness and removing all turn signals and reverse lights. i was able to drive around for about 5 minutes until the fuse blew.
when i got home, i put a new one in and starting tugging on wires by the brake/gas pedal to see if i could trip anything up and it didn't.
i'm gonna end up taking it into a shop to have them find the short because i'm not finding anything and don't feel like playing hide and seek. i'm not that great at eletrical to begin with so this is gonna be more than i can deal with.

took it to a shop and they found the short within about an hour. there was a wire leading to a harness next to the radiator on the drivers side, sitting just inside the fender well. one wire was rubbing against the fender, opened up and shorted itself on the fender well.
so all is well again and hopefully for a long time.
