hey guys,
Man I can't figure this out at all, My clutch cable went out 3 weeks ago. And well I ordered one through advance auto cheap for me since I work there. Well I set it all up to shift perfect, after a couple days it goes back to were it doesnt want to go into gear again. I have been told with the rise in fall in temp the adjustable part to set the shifting will expand and contract since its plastic. If this is true how in the hell can i fix this problem. But if it is something else please explain, I have adjusted it enough to make me sick, also when it is warm out it shifts perfect when the weather drops it starts to stick. So throw me some answers here. If its my tranny I'm gonna be really pissed.

Probally the throw out bearing is sticking. Once you get the cable adjusted you shouldn't have to adjust it again for a while...no matter the temperature.

ur cable shouldnt b the prob no matter what the weather. I used to break pedals & cables in my VW until i heard a pop in my tranny when i pulled it out i found the pressure plate broke in half...
my advice is to check ur throw-out bearing & pressure plate.
