2004 ford freestar

I have a 04 ford freestar and i having some problems with it. when i start going if i press on the gas to hard it will not pick up speed and star jerking really bad because it want go. today the check engine light came on and said it was the camshaft sensor i replace the sensor and the car is still having the same problem if anybody can help please let me no thanks. The code that keeps coming on is p1336 is there anyway of clearing this code without taking to dealer.

sometimes your parts centre will clear the code for you and maybe tell you what code it is for free
at least thats what they do here in on. canada

The code can be cleared by taking the + battery terminal off for 10 minutes or so. The only problem with doing it this way is that if you have to take it to the shop to get it fixed they may not be able to pull the code again.
