found a tsb issued from NHTSA, but nothing from Lincoln and nothing on alldata.. I found a few other people on here with the same problem, but as usual they get the problem fixed and go away without posting a response on how it was fixed....Anyone with this same issue? I'm guessing door module, key fob, or alarm module..Let me know if you've experienced or heard of this problem before. Thanks

TSB #16836 -- UNINTENDED WINDOW AND MOONROOF OPENING (FALSE GLOBAL OPEN) WHICH MAY OCCUR WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PARKED. *TT (NHTSA ID #10002760, MAY 01 2003)

After taking a peek at the wiring diagrams for the locking system, I'm suspecting the problem is likely related to driver's door key cylinder switch. If the electrical switch in that cylinder is intermittantly shorting, the driver door module would think the key is turned in the cylinder to unlock the doors, roll down the windows and open the sunroof.

You're right though, it is very frustrating when people get their answers from the forums, solve their problem, and don't take the 5 minutes to post back with what it took to fix their cars! For people that take the time to search the forums prior to posting a new thread (thank you for searching!) the 5-minute follow-up post could save us all a lot of time!

Worth a inexpensive $5 try, zero residue electrical contact cleaner from Radio Shack, spray in lock and if you take the door panel off spray from the inside.
