How do you guys sand body's with lots of detail, where there aren't many flat or only slightly curved surfaces? I am haveing trouble sanding my RX-7's whole body, because some areas aren't easily accesible with the sand paper. Also, I have heard different times that I should wait before painting my body after primering it, anywhere from 2-14 days. What is the best amount of time to wait?

Not too sure about your sanding query, but I usually wait about 7 days to start painting after primering

When I am trying to remove mold lines etc that are on an outside curve I use a combination file/polisher that women use to do their nails it has four grades of grit on it and each section is foam rubber backed. this helps to conform to curves and not create flat areas, It can also be usefull for getting scratches out of clear parts if your carefull, then just finish off with automotive polish. For inner curves I use normal wet/dry paper rapped around various size cylindrical objects, xacto handles are useful.

3M makes sponge-like sanding pads that will help you sand curved surfaces.
