Rear Windshield

Mkay, replacing your back windshield is a pain in the butt may I say.

I called Diamond Auto Glass at first and everything sounded good, $450 installed and everything that's fine. Then the day before they come to install it (I called a month prior) and they said they could only get it from one place and that would be $800. I had to cancel, no way am I paying that.

So here is my option, I can get a hatch with the read windshield from a junk yard, the only thing is that it's coming off of a 3000GT. I believe the year of the 3000 is a 92, and I have a 91 stealth r/t, either way if its not a 92 it has pop up headlights so its between 91-93. But my question is, would the rear windshield from the 3000 fit in my stealth?

yes. the hatches are identical, aside from the spoiler mounting hole locations.

Thanks boss, you really helped. Now lets just hope they dont break the winshield when there taking it out, and things will be a-okay!

now will my spoiler from my stealth fit the pre-existing holes? i think this is one of the problems im going to run into..

I would call another glass place. I have had hatch glass switched two times from parts cars to existing cars without even removing the hatches, for about $100 each.

no...completely different mounting locations. If you want to keet the banana spoiler rather than go with a 3k spoiler, you'll need to drill holes.
