Kitty :D
Amabel in Latin means Lovable.
Ambika in Hindu means Goddess of Destruction (knowing cats, may be a good one ;))
Amoke in Yoruban means "to pet her" ;)
Ariene in Welsh means "Silvery"
Just a few ideas. They all start w/an "A" because that's what I see in her.

Either Kitty or Cat. Easy to remember, suits the animal well, and is what most people end up calling it anyways. I had a bunny named Bunny.

Well, lately I've been addressing my own cat with:
"stop scratching that!"
"don't lick that!"
"shut the hell up!"
"what the fuck is wrong with you?!?"
But really, I'd suggest calling her Ball. :)

I dislike most pet names. I just like animals to either be named as their species, or with a regular human name like "Chester"

ahh damn i missed it. I can come up with some pretty good pet names too. My 2 fish are caleld Gorbichov and Winter Hat (dont ask, long story). My dog is called Fyfer and my cat is (believe it or not) named Mittens.
My sisters kitten (who is currently occupied with torment poor 13 year old Mittens) is named Lucas, or Luka for short.
I still want a millipeed so i can name it Wigglebottom :p

My sentiments exactly! The 2 hamsters I had were named Cinnamon and Eclair. Guess which color each one was. :o Hamsters don't have much of a personality, so it's harder to name them.

Even though you already picked a name, I think you should name her Trogdor The Burninator.

I named my bunny "Wabbit". I once had a dog that I named Dog. The best name I ever had for a pet was when I was in the U.S. Air Force, I had a pet mouse that would hump anything, chew stick, food dish, anything that was in the cage. I named him Air Force.
