Abs Light

I looked at a 2003 Saturn VUE with a 13200 miles. The ABS light was on and the place of purchase could not give me any details. Is this something that will need immeditate attention and is it costly to fix.

If the abs light is on then the ABS system will not work when hitting the brakes hard like during emergency stopping. the best way to find out whats going on is to get the computer scanned. Morethen likely it's either a hub bearing or a bad connection to the sensor. If the dealer you went to can't give you details on it... I'd walk away. Things like that should have been addressed before the car hit the lot!
