Headlight problem

My Oldsmobile Cutlass is driving me crazy.:screwy: Every 6 months or so one of the headlights goes out. I have replaced them about 6 times and my mechanic doesn't see a problem. Sometimes its the passenger side. Sometimes its the driver side. Wiring looks fine. Just had a driver's side headlight replaced again this weekend. This time it only lasted one day & went out AGAIN! :banghead: The headlights don't flicker. It just goes out & stays out.
Any ideas why this could be happening?

Is it the high beam , low beam, or both burning out ?
