will 205/75/15 fit a 81' caprice... their suppose to have 215/75/15 but the guy who im getting tires from only has 205. so i was wondering if they would still work.

205/75R15 is the actual specified size for that car, not 215.

no, it shouldnt. im running a set of 215/75/15 snows in the back and 205/75s in the front of my caprice right now. you should be ok

oh really. the reason i asked is because right now my car has 215/75/15 on them but the back 2 are bald in spots and the front to are brand new pretty much. and well my car kinda has a shake to it when it gets over 55 mph.

these vehicles were designed to use 205 and 215 tires I purchased my vehicle new ,,,with the optional 215 tires...this is a better tire...because of larger size...it can handle a heavier load and gives a better ride..
mixing tire sizes is not recommended...just ask the tire shops....

it will be fine as long as the wider 215 are in the rear and the 205 in front
