I have a 2000 celica gt with 150,000 on it. now the engine feels slow to accelerate and as if it was not getting enough air?

What is going on?

Have you tried putting some gasoline treatment into your tank? You may have dirty injectors.

If you have the Check Engine light showing, you need to get the codes that are stored in the ECM to determine the bad circuit.

Your exhaust or intake system may be blocked.

Check your compression. Are your plugs reasonably new? Have you changed or checked your transmission fluid?

Does your car coast normally and a long time when in neutral, or does it coast to a stop abruptly as if your brakes are binding? Jack the car up and turn the wheels by hand to find out which one is binding if the car coasts poorly.
