Ram Air

I want to make a ram air intake for my GA. I am thinking about manufacturing a "scoop" that would sit behind the grill, just above the air dam and then be routed up through the fender. Just toying with the idea, havent gotten too serious about it yet. Any suggestions, opinions? The location was choosen for stealth/pressure.

If you look in the parts section you'll see how the Ram air is put together.
The factory ones push air up over the top of the radiator and thru the ducts to the air box. It only works with the stock air box too, this is where the Ram'd air is focused. They arent as effective as one might think. Though the cooler air directly into the box is a good thing.
A CAI is way better IMO !!

well, the opening for the air to come in is smaller on the stock than what I had in mind, plus stock is over the radiator (a good source of warm air), and the air pressure on a car is higher just under the bumper. I am worried about snow, and water though
