engine rotates and starts, then shuts off

my 1995 chevy s10 engine starts, then imeditally shuts off, then I try to turn it over again and it just cranks.

I am not a big motor head and don't know that much about engine's but i did go and check the vacum lines,plugs,wires,distributor,coil,rotor and fuses. and my fuel pump is working, just running out of options and things to look for.:confused: have a brand new ingnition switch that i had put in too. i just don't know going a little crazy though:runaround:

Get a fuel pressure guage on it and see what the fuel pressure is at. Just becasue the fuel pump is work, doesn't mean its working properly. Check and verify your fuel pressure first and go from there.
