droping a del sol

Hi i have a 1994 honda del sols anyway i took off the stock 13" tires and put on twisted tuner 17x8 when i did it it liftyed the car slitley off the ground. i have lowering springs tenzo type R its a 2.25" drop there is only about 3" between the fender and the tire now is it possible to put the springs on or am i gonna run into truble with it rubbing or hitting the tiresonly grind very very slightly when i cut it all the way to make a 3 point turn

not sure about 17x8. I have 17x7 with a wheel offset is 38 and 205/40 series tires. I have Tanabe coilovers and lowered close to 2 inches and no rubbing problems.

offset, wheel width, and tire size are the deteriming factors in rubbing.
