What is the European version of the 95' Jetta GLX. And is there any difference between those two cars. I was just wondering cause I currently live in Europe, but I'm moving back home to Alabama next year and I want to bring a car home with me cause the Belgian used car prices are insane. And as many others I have seen tFatF and I just fell in love with the Jetta, but I have heard that the jetta is the US version and that the Vento is the European version.

Yes, the Vento is the European name Volkswagen put on the mk3 Jetta.
As far as I know, there is no European mk3 Jetta GLX. Or Vento VR6 as it would have been called.
The Jetta in thath was not a VR6, just a 2.0.

I'll guess I have to buy an American '95 Jetta GLX. I would also like some tuning advice, both Engine, Exterior, Interior, Brakes, Suspension and Audio/Video. I was thinking to buy the Wings West Jetta 4pc completa kit and the Thruster Wing with LED braking light. And for the wheels I would like Blatant Carbon 18 x 7.5 with Toyo Proxess tires. Any response on the chosen parts or any other suggestions are welcomed, also I'd really like some engine tuning advice.

Are you building a fatf-Jetta replica?

I would like to do that, but without the Nitrous Oxide System.

Ok, this (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?postid=794185#post794185) might help.

Is there a Vento GLS with Manual transmission.

No, the closest would be a 2.0 GLX.

Okay, thanks. I'll take notice on that.
