That's my plan for tomorrow after school. I have the FSU, the wiring is going to be obvious, but the thing I'm not sure about is that there is the black thing that you can rotate, are you supposed to rotate it to a certain location?

The float attaches to it. It will set its self to the level when you install it.

considering the simplicity of the project and how long it took. Jesus... it took me 2 days to do it.. Rusted bolts are such a pain in the ass... 3 of them broke, and since they were all welded on from the inner side I had to redrill the holes. The job got done though. But I dunno.. I feel like the new FSU isn't accurate either. If I put a gallon of gas while the meter shows less than 1 quarter being filled it then goes up nearly the 1/2 mark. The only thing I havn't really noticed is that it doesnt jump around like it used to, but I can't be 100% sure on that. I havn't driven enough to say much about that.

Alpha,
When I replaced mine and I really started to keep track of the guage, I found that 1 gallon raises the guage just about 1 increment.
