I didn't vote for a couple reasons, but I would have voted for him.

I did not vote for him. Im not going to get into all of the reasons why but I feel like he was not best for the job.

Also there have already been several assasination attempts already, and it wont surprise me if they continue to happen. There is going to be alot of pissed off people in this country....

I didnt vote either, waited around and didnt register, yeah im mad at myself.
But I damn sure wouldnt have voted Obama.

Here is something else I would just like to throw out there so this thread doesn't turn into a war zone...

I posted this up on Myspace and Facebook because so many people were pissed off at me and my views. I'm hoping it prevents any similar problems from arising here...


So apparently I am pissing off a ton of people with my attitude towards the results of this election. However, you should all hear me out on what I'm about to say before I get more pissed off messages...


So the election has come to a close and Obama is the winner. Ok, fine and dandy for the half of the country that voted for him. But what about the other half who voted for the other guy? They are all pissed off, and they have good reason to be. Why? It's not because Obama is black or anything like that, which is the first thing most people are accusing us of. No, it's because we thought the other guy would do a better job running this country. This is America, this is what the election is supposed to be about. People choosing who they think would be the best candidate for the job. However, people are always unhappy with the results. You can never please everybody and we shouldn't all expect everyone to immediately accept Obama fully. Sure, he won. That doesn't mean I have to support his views though. And it's my full God given right to not accept something that another man believes to be true...

Now, lets look at things this way...

What would things be like if McCain had won? All the people who voted for Obama would be pissed just like all the people who voted for McCain is pissed right now. Why? For the same damn reason we are pissed. Because you all think that Obama would run this country better. Then that puts us right back to square one with all of this...

So... Who else wants to send me angry messages because I oppose who won the election? Is it not my right to oppose it as I see fit? I think you all would be doing the same thing had McCain won...

The end... If you still don't like what I have to say about it, then you need to get your head out of the clouds and see if from both sides. And if you do see it from both sides, it still doesn't mean you have to support both sides. At least see it and realize that we are all free to believe what we want to believe and say what we want to say. This is still America...


Oh and just an added note to all of this. If anything, I think this entire election is going to divide the whole country no matter who would have won it...

I belive we are screwed now that Obama is going to be the President. He gets in the office Jan 1st, 2009 (if he makes it, Im sure you all no what I mean).

And I agree with you Blackcrow if McCain had won, all the ppl that voted for Obama would be pissed, and say how unfair it is. Im not sure if anyone else has heard about this, but I was told that the top 5 supports for Obama are know Terrorist, and legally Obama is NOT a citizen of the USA, he was born in Hawaii and his parents then moved over to, Indonesia making Obama a resident of Indonesia VOIDING his USA citizenship. Also Obama WILL NOT say the Pledge Of Allegiance, its against his Religion, and he Burns USA Flags!

By the Constitution Obama should have NEVER been aloud to run, even after they found out his top supports are Terrorist, also Obama wants to take our Right To Bar Arms. How can he do that, when its in the Constitution that we HAVE a right to bar them?

In my 100% opinion the ONLY reason Obama got voted was because he is Black. Im not saying that to be Racist or anything, but I think the USA wanted a Black Presdiant SOOOO, bad that they over looked all of the wrong, that is Obama.

I hope I didn't just piss some ppl off, but that is my opinion, and I have a right to it.

Regardless of whether i voted or not, im going to be complaining for the next 4 years.

Either way I see it, this country has been on a steady decline for the past decade or so. People are becoming such extremists now-adays about some of the most retarded, sensitive and insensitive issues that it's hurting us more than helping us. This country gets torn apart farther and farther every time we have an election, and this one was by far the worst we've had in a long time.

I for one did not vote this year because I couldn't give two squirts about who the fuck runs our country, either way we're screwed. And I will continue to not vote until we get a candidate that can (and has proven) that he can get shit done, and get it done well, for the good of the country, and not his buddies or their bank accounts.
