300ZX Cam Seal problem

I have a 1993 300ZX 2+2 that I had the heads rebuilt and the cam seals that came in the fel-pro kit are all the same size. The problem is that my intake cam seal surface is much smaller and the dealer says they should require the same seal. The outer diameter of the exhaust cam is 1.503 inches and the Outer diameter of the intake cam is 1.380. Has anyone ever ran across this problem, or know a part number for the correct seal?

Thats because on the cams towards the center of the engine, the seal doesn't actually seat on the cam. It seals on the cam sprocket. All 4 seals are supposed to be the same size. Hope this answers your question.

As joe said they should all be the same seal. The crank uses the same seal as well.
The inward side of the seal is spring loaded and has a bit of a usable size range to it. Unless there is a gap between the seal and cam after you install them then there shouldn't be an issue.
