Explorer 4.0l PUSHROD egr location

Where the heck is the egr for my 4.o litre PUSHROD engine. I can't seem to find it or any reliable manual with info on this engine.

Some years did not have a EGR valve. Need year please.

My 1991, with the same engine, did NOT have that item. Living in California, I figured the repair manual mut be a missprint, so I spent a great deal of time seachering only to conclude that this vehicle did not have a egr valve.
