I have a 1989 K2500 pickup. I think I have a leak in one of the power steering pressure hose. How do I replace it and how hard of job is it?

Welcome to AF.
First thing find out which one.
Replacing is just unbolt old one and bolt up new one.
If the pressure hose you may need some big brake line wrenches or crows feet to unbolt and bolt the line back up.
Good luck

If it is the pressure side, and the pump is like my '95 (should be the same), the PS pump itself will have to be removed since there is not enough clearance on the back of the pump to unscrew the fitting and remove it. But to remove the pump the pulley will have to be removed to access the mounting bolts. Try to suck out as much PS fluid from the pump first to avoid a big mess when you remove the hose. Hope this helps!
On second thought, is that fitting on the back the return side? The other one on the side is just a push-on hose...so wouldn't expect it to hold a pressure...anyone?
