Larger throttle body, worth it?

So I'm questioning if a larger throttle body is worth the expense? Does a 72mm throttle body increase HP or drop KR enough to be justified? Also, what's your take on the throttle body spacers? I know it adds more space between the S/C and TB but would that gap prove to be worth the cost of that mod as well?

Since I'm adding high lift rockers to my 3.4 setup for next year (along with supporting exhaust mods and intake mods and the t-stat/plugs) which I think should provide a nearly if not totally knock free motor. Would it even be worth my while to consider the throttle body or spacer?

Thanks!

I only got a larger one bacuse my MAF went out and either a high flow stage 1 t-body for 199.99 or a replacement MAF for 119.99. I decided to get the T-body, I didnt notice any performance increase, but it might have lowered KR. Make sure you keep your MAF screen for your new t-body or alse order a new one from ZZP.

In itself the 72mm throttle body doesn't do much but when combined with the other mods you have it helps. Main benefit is it improves power at the mid to high rpm range. It does help reduce KR. The same is applicable to the TB spacer. For a L67 engine it helps insulate the supercharger from the TB and reduces heat transfer. Also, the spacer blocks off the coolant ports since the throttle body has coolant flowing through it. Heat reduction helps reduce KR. It all adds up.
